Social Networking Apps Performance in Paraguay, Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, social networking apps in Paraguay exhibited diverse performance trends on a unified platform, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative from Bad Kitty's Dad saw a notable peak in weekly downloads, reaching approximately 53.7K in early February. However, downloads gradually declined to around 7.5K by the end of March. The app's weekly revenue showed variability, peaking at $371 in mid-February and tapering off to $165 by the quarter's close.

Threads, developed by Instagram, Inc., maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers hovering between 13K and 17K weekly.

Telegram Messenger experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, culminating at around $1.1K in early March. Weekly downloads peaked at about 18K in late February, showcasing a solid user interest.

Facebook from Meta Platforms, Inc. enjoyed a strong start with downloads peaking at over 32K in early February, before declining to 21.7K by the end of the quarter. Revenue saw minor fluctuations, peaking at $678 in late February.

WhatsApp Messenger recorded a peak in downloads at approximately 23.6K in early February, followed by a decline to around 11K by the end of March. Revenue remained stable, albeit minimal.
