In the second quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Egypt saw notable trends across the top-performing apps on the Android platform. This analysis, powered by Sensor Tower data, provides insights into weekly downloads and active users for the leading apps.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares from ® SUOL INNOVATIONS LTD saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at approximately 107K and ending the quarter at around 91K. Active users began at 4.4M, dipped throughout April, and then climbed back to 4.2M by the end of June.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides, published by DiDi Global, experienced a steady increase in downloads, peaking at around 59K in the final week. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 3.2M and closing the quarter at 3.3M.

Uber - Request a ride demonstrated a gradual rise in downloads, reaching approximately 59K by the end of June. Active users also grew, beginning at 3.6M and rising to 4.1M.

DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash showed a modest increase in downloads, starting at 19.5K and ending at 21K. Active users saw a consistent rise from 305K to 354K over the quarter.
