The second quarter of 2025 saw significant movement in the hypercasual gaming market on Android in the United Arab Emirates. Here, we explore the performance trends of the top five games, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Music Piano 7: Rush Song Games from Melodya Muses showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 5.3K in early April and peaking at approximately 30.4K in mid-June. Active users followed a similar upward trend, rising from 4.9K to about 18.6K over the quarter.
Block Blast! by HungryStudio maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 7.7K and 14K. The game sustained a large active user base, consistently hovering around 240K to 260K throughout the period.
Plink Space - Drop Balls x1000 from Joker Game, a more recent entry, experienced a dramatic rise in downloads post-launch, reaching a high of 39.9K by late June. Active users mirrored this growth, surging from 3K to over 38K. Weekly revenue began modestly at $85 and stabilized around $224 by the end of the quarter.
Vita Mahjong by Vita Studio saw its downloads steadily climb from 3.9K to an impressive 35.5K by the end of June. Active users also increased significantly, starting at 11.8K and soaring to 37.1K, reflecting its growing popularity.
Finally, Tile Explorer - Triple Match from Oakever Games demonstrated remarkable growth in downloads, beginning at 1.6K and reaching over 67K by the quarter's end. Active user numbers rose from 5.7K to 46.1K, showing a strong engagement rate. Revenue was negligible, with a small amount of $29 recorded at the end of June.
