In the second quarter of 2025, the iOS platform in Sweden saw varied performance among the top meal kits and specialty foods applications. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps demonstrated unique trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with approximately 776 downloads and peaking at 1.1K in late April. However, by the end of June, downloads decreased to around 325. The app's weekly active users started at about 19.5K, gradually declining to 13.6K by the quarter's end.
For Vivino: Drink The Right Wine, weekly revenue showed a steady climb, reaching approximately $3.7K by the end of June. Downloads remained relatively stable, starting at 666 and ending with 517. Active user numbers increased from 12.6K at the start of the quarter to a peak of 22.4K in early May, before stabilizing at around 13.9K.
Factor_ Prepared Meal Delivery maintained a low but steady download rate, beginning the quarter at 319 and ending at 122. Active users remained consistent, hovering around 2K throughout the quarter.
Vinoteket saw a decline in downloads from 220 at the start of the quarter to 98 by its end. Despite this, the app maintained a presence in the market without significant fluctuations in other metrics.
Lastly, Linas Matkasse had a modest download rate, starting at 115 and decreasing to 22 by the end of June. The app’s engagement metrics were not prominently highlighted in this period.
