In the second quarter of 2025, carpooling and ridesharing apps in Finland showed varied performance trends across downloads and active users. According to Sensor Tower, here’s a closer look at the top five apps on a unified platform.
Bolt: Request a Ride showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 5.9K and peaking at 9.2K by the end of June. Active users also grew steadily from approximately 140K to 176K over the quarter.
Uber - Request a ride experienced a moderate increase in downloads, rising from 4.3K to just over 5.1K. Active users fluctuated but ended the quarter higher, moving from 48K to about 52K.
Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery maintained a stable number of downloads, ranging between 300 and 400 weekly. Active user numbers were more consistent, holding steady around the 33K mark.
Yango: taxi, food, delivery had a slight increase in downloads, peaking at 418 in early June. Active users saw a notable rise, growing from 1.2K to 4.5K by the quarter's end.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver showed stable downloads with a slight peak at 295 in late April. Active user numbers remained relatively constant, hovering around 3.8K to 4.1K.
