2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of top fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Australia showed interesting trends, as captured by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads and active users for each app.
MyMacca's from McDonald’s Australia Limited saw a decline in weekly downloads early in the quarter, starting at 28.4K and reaching a low of 16.7K in early May. However, downloads rebounded to 19.7K by the end of June. Active users fluctuated, beginning at 2.1M and dipping slightly before rising again to around 1.9M.
KFC - Order On The Go experienced a significant increase in downloads, peaking at 42.7K in the final week of June. Its active user base also grew, starting at 852K and reaching 1.1M by quarter's end.
Hungry Jack’s Deals & Ordering maintained a relatively stable download rate, with a slight increase to 20.3K in the last week of June. Active users saw a steady climb from 532K to 575K over the quarter.
Guzman y Gomez (GYG) Mexican had fluctuating download numbers, but ended the quarter on a high note at 18.8K. Active users remained stable, hovering around 280K.
Lastly, Domino's downloads showed a gradual increase, concluding the quarter at 13.6K. Active users rose from 314K to 332K, marking a positive trend.
