In the second quarter of 2025, the top food and drink applications in Finland showed varied performance metrics on the unified platform, according to data from Sensor Tower.
foodora: Food & Groceries experienced consistent weekly downloads, starting at 10.1K and peaking at 11K in early April, before slightly declining to 10K by the end of June. Active users fluctuated, beginning at 130K and dipping to 86.7K mid-quarter, but rebounded to 133K by the end of June.
McDonald’s saw a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers ranging from 3.7K to 5.6K weekly. Active users peaked at 148K in mid-April and maintained an active user base of over 135K by the end of June.
Wolt Delivery: Food and more recorded a slight decline in weekly downloads, starting at 4.5K and dropping to 3.2K by mid-June. However, active users showed resilience, with numbers varying between 218K and 257K, ending the quarter at 229K.
Hesburger downloads showed a rise in early April with 4.2K, stabilizing around 3.6K weekly towards the end of the quarter. Active users increased from 129K to a quarterly high of 177K by the end of June.
Lastly, Burger King Finland maintained a steady download rate, beginning at 3K and reaching 3.5K by late June. Active user numbers grew from 58K to 70K, indicating a positive trend.
