State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
The second quarter of 2025 saw notable trends in the performance of the top insurance applications in Germany on a unified platform. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared based on data from Sensor Tower.
TK-App from Techniker Krankenkasse showed varied weekly downloads, starting at approximately 31K and experiencing a dip to around 17K by mid-June. Despite fluctuations, the app maintained a strong base of active users, peaking at about 1.1M in early June.
Meine Allianz saw its weekly downloads hover around 15K, with a peak of 16.5K in mid-May. Active users began the quarter at around 250K, dipping to 172K, before recovering to 210K by the end of June.
The DAK app had steady download numbers, averaging around 7K per week, with a slight peak of 9.2K in mid-May. Active user numbers remained stable, ranging between 115K and 135K throughout the quarter.
Meine SI Mobile experienced a significant drop in downloads from 18.5K in early April to 3.6K by mid-June. However, active users saw an increase, reaching over 91K in mid-June.
Finally, My AXA Mobile started with downloads of 10.6K, decreasing to about 5K by mid-June, before a spike to 10K at the end of the quarter. Active users fluctuated, ending the quarter with around 111K.
