The third quarter of 2025 saw interesting trends in the cannabis-themed mobile gaming sector on the Android platform in the United States. Here's a closer look at the top five games, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Bud Farm: Idle Tycoon experienced a robust increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $34.8K by the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, starting at around 5.2K and declining to 2.3K by the quarter's end. However, active users showed a positive trajectory, increasing from 13.5K to nearly 12.9K.
Weed Inc: Idle Tycoon maintained steady weekly revenue, averaging around $8.7K, despite a significant drop in downloads from 4.2K to 2.6K. Active users decreased from 9.4K to 4.3K over the same period.
Cheech and Chong Bud Farm saw an impressive rise in revenue, reaching up to $23.7K by the end of September. Although downloads initially dipped, they recovered to over 1.8K. The active user base remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at around 9.2K.
Hempire - Plant Growing Game had consistent revenue growth, peaking at $7.3K. Downloads varied, with numbers fluctuating between 1.4K and 1.9K, while active users increased significantly from 3K to over 9.2K.
Finally, Weed Factory Idle showed a steady download pattern, increasing slightly to 641 by the end of the quarter. Active users remained stable, with a slight increase to 1.6K.
