In the third quarter of 2025, the health and fitness category on Android in the United States saw notable trends across the top applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated varying patterns in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.
Fitbit from Google LLC experienced a peak in weekly revenue at approximately $815K at the start of the quarter. The revenue gradually declined, closing the period at about $497K. Downloads peaked mid-quarter with around 26K, while active users fluctuated slightly, maintaining a strong presence at around 3.3M by quarter's end.
MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter showed a steady revenue stream, peaking at $428K in mid-August before tapering to $329K. Weekly downloads saw an upward trend, reaching over 31K in late August. The app maintained a robust active user base, although it decreased to about 1.2M by the end of September.
AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run had a notable dip in revenue, starting from $318K and ending at $199K. Downloads saw fluctuations, peaking at 56K in July, while active users decreased to approximately 885K by the close of the quarter.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike maintained consistent revenue figures throughout the quarter, hovering around $170K to $180K. Downloads showed a slight increase, peaking at 32K, with active users staying relatively stable at around 1.3M.
Finch: Self-Care Pet saw its highest revenue in early September at $147K. Downloads peaked at nearly 59K in early August, while the weekly active users increased, closing the quarter at about 2.9M.
