The third quarter of 2025 saw varying performance trends among the top convenience store applications on iOS in the United States. According to Sensor Tower data, here’s a detailed look at the performance of the leading apps in the sector.
Dollar General-Digital Coupons experienced significant fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting strong with approximately 143K downloads and stabilizing around 79K by the end of the quarter. Active users also exhibited notable variation, peaking at 1.6M in early August before dropping to about 1.2M by the end of September.
Circle K showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 112K in mid-August. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 350K, with a slight decline towards the end of the quarter.
7-Eleven: Rewards & Shopping had a surge in downloads early in the quarter, peaking at 143K. However, the numbers tapered off, ending at around 41K. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 1.1M and decreasing to approximately 674K by the end of the quarter.
Wawa maintained a steady download rate, with numbers hovering around 39K to 43K throughout the quarter. The app's active user count showed slight fluctuations, averaging around 1.2M, with a peak of 1.3M in late July.
Sheetz Food Delivery & Rewards experienced a steady increase in downloads, culminating in a peak of 24K in the last week of September. Active users showed a gradual increase, with numbers rising from 496K to 568K over the quarter.
