In the third quarter of 2025, virtual pet apps on iOS in the United States showed varied performance metrics, according to Sensor Tower data. Here's a closer look at how the top five applications fared.
Pokémon Sleep saw a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at about $95K in early September. Downloads reached a high of approximately 11.4K in mid-July, while active users increased from 198K to 251K throughout July, stabilizing around 216K by the end of September.
My Cat – Virtual Pet Games maintained stable weekly revenue, averaging around $29K to $31K. Downloads experienced a peak of 17.2K in early August, and active users showed a notable drop from 28K to 22K by the end of September.
Dino Fun - Games for kids exhibited consistent revenue, climbing to $33.5K by late September. Downloads started strong at 16.3K in July, decreasing to around 10.9K. Active users decreased slightly from 94K to 87K over the quarter.
Baby care game & Dress up reported steady revenue, closing the quarter with $13.7K. Downloads decreased from 10.8K to 6.7K, while active users dropped from 13.7K to 10.2K.
Lastly, Pet Doctor Care games for kids showed a decline in downloads from 5.5K to 3K, with revenue peaking at $14.6K in late June and closing at $12.5K. Active users dipped from 14.2K to 10.5K.
