The third quarter of 2025 saw notable trends in the adventure games category on a unified platform in the United States. According to Sensor Tower, these are the insights for the top five games.
Genshin Impact experienced significant fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $2.5M in late September. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable throughout the quarter, generally hovering around 25K to 30K. Active users showed a distinct increase, reaching about 1.1M by the end of September.
Fate/Grand Order (English) from Aniplex Inc. saw a strong start with weekly revenue surpassing $1.8M in July, followed by a gradual decline to around $151K by the quarter's end. Downloads peaked in mid-July at over 10K but tapered off to about 1.3K in late September. The active user base remained steady, mostly fluctuating between 56K and 68K.
Summoners War achieved a notable revenue peak of $794K in late July. Downloads were modest, with a peak of 5.3K in early August. Active users saw an upward trend early in the quarter, reaching a high of 37.5K, but declined to around 17K by the end.
Wuthering Waves from KURO GAMES showed strong revenue performance with a high of $861K in late August. Weekly downloads saw spikes in late July and August, reaching over 21K. Active users remained relatively stable, with numbers ranging from 133K to 182K throughout the quarter.
Zenless Zone Zero displayed a sharp revenue increase in mid-July to over $1M, before stabilizing around $174K by the end of September. Downloads peaked at over 20K in mid-July, while active users steadily decreased from 286K to approximately 148K.
