In the third quarter of 2025, Uber - Request a ride saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 88K and dropping to around 71K by the end of September. Active users fluctuated, peaking at about 2M at the start and closing the quarter at a similar level.
Bolt: Request a Ride experienced varying weekly downloads, with a high of 42.5K in late September, while active users showed a general increase from around 851K to 849K.
Cabify downloads began at 47K, decreasing to about 28K by quarter's end. Active users started at 968K, dipping mid-quarter, but concluded with an upward trend at approximately 887K.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus maintained consistent downloads around the 25K mark, with a notable spike to 42K in early August. Active users fluctuated, ending the quarter at about 661K.
Freenow by Lyft - taxi & more saw downloads decreasing from 19K to 13K. Active users showed a recovery from a low of 189K in mid-August to 269K by the end of September.
