In the third quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing sector in Poland saw diverse trends among the leading apps. This report, based on data from Sensor Tower, delves into the performance of the top five apps on a unified platform.
Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 71K downloads in early July to about 41K by the end of September. Despite this, the app maintained strong user engagement with weekly active users fluctuating around 2.3M.
Uber - Request a ride saw a consistent download rate, beginning at 45K and slightly dropping to 35K toward the quarter's end. The app's active user base remained stable, averaging around 1.2M weekly active users throughout the period.
Freenow by Lyft - taxi & more had modest download figures, with numbers ranging from 6.7K to 5.3K. Weekly active users showed variability, peaking at 225K in early July and settling at around 173K by late September.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus maintained a steady download rate, averaging around 5K per week. Active user numbers grew gradually, reaching approximately 127K by the end of the quarter.
Finally, Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had downloads fluctuating between 2.8K and 3.5K, while active users decreased from 55K to 43K over the three months.
