In the third quarter of 2025, the consumer finance app market in the Netherlands showcased interesting trends across the top applications. Here’s a look at how each app performed based on data from Sensor Tower.
Revolut: Send, spend and save experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at roughly 25.9K and peaking at 29.8K in early August. The app's weekly active users saw a steady increase, starting from about 1M and reaching approximately 1.2M by the end of September.
ING Netherlands had a consistent performance in downloads, beginning at around 11.8K and showing growth towards the end of the quarter, reaching 14.1K. The app maintained a stable active user base, averaging around 4M throughout the quarter.
ASN Bank saw a significant drop in downloads after an initial surge, starting at 41.3K and settling to approximately 7.9K by the end of September. Despite this, active users increased from 655K to about 646K, indicating a growing engagement.
Rabobank maintained stable download numbers, beginning at 10.2K and peaking at 12.6K in late August. The app's active users remained around 3.3M, showing slight fluctuations but ending the quarter on a high note.
ABN AMRO experienced a steady increase in downloads from 7.7K to 10K by the end of September. Active users showed a positive trend, starting at 2M and ending at approximately 2.1M.
