In the third quarter of 2025, the top personal finance apps in Europe showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the trends for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Splitwise saw a steady revenue trend, peaking at approximately $45K in mid-August. Weekly downloads peaked at about 132K in early August, before declining to 88K by the end of September. Active users fluctuated, with a notable peak at 3.9M in early September.
Money manager, expense tracker experienced a consistent weekly revenue, averaging around $5K. Downloads showed a significant increase, reaching 44K in the last week of September. Active users varied slightly, peaking at 1.1M in early September.
Finanzguru - Konten & Verträge maintained robust weekly revenue, culminating at $246K in the final week. Downloads remained stable, averaging around 31K weekly. Active users showed an upward trend, closing the quarter at approximately 1.5M.
Splid – Split group bills had a slight increase in weekly revenue, reaching close to $5.4K in mid-August. Downloads saw a decline from 34K in early August to 26K by the end of September. Active users also fluctuated, ending the quarter at around 561K.
Finally, Emma - Budget Planner Tracker experienced varied revenue, peaking at $6.5K in early August. Downloads spiked to 37K in late August. Active users increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 277K.
