2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing landscape in Mexico saw significant activity on the Android platform. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of the top five apps in this category.
DiDi Rider: Affordable rides maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 150K and 170K. The app's active user base showed a peak in mid-December at approximately 14.5M, before a decline to around 11.8M by the end of the quarter.
Uber - Request a ride experienced a varied download pattern, reaching a high of 139K in mid-October. Active users peaked in early December at 6.4M, with a noticeable drop to just over 5M by the quarter's end.
For DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash, downloads started strong at 93K but saw a gradual decline to 36K by late December. Active users increased steadily, peaking at 1.4M mid-quarter, maintaining this level into December.
inDrive. Rides with fair fares showed a notable rise in weekly downloads, from around 74K at the quarter's start to 93K in late December. Active users peaked mid-December at nearly 3M before dropping to 1.9M by the end of the quarter.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver faced a fluctuating download pattern with highs of 78K in late December. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 1.3M mark throughout the quarter.
