In the last quarter of 2025, the top consumer finance applications on the Android platform in Austria showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps offered unique insights into user engagement and popularity.
George Österreich by Erste Bank und Sparkassen experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at about 5.9K in early November before dropping to 4.1K by the end of December. Active users displayed a slight decrease from 962K at the start of October to 844K in the final week of December.
The Mein ELBA-App from Raiffeisen Österreich saw its downloads reach a high of 5.3K in early October, tapering off to just over 2K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations around 850K to 920K throughout the quarter.
For BAWAG Banking App, weekly downloads showed a significant drop from 4.2K to just 920 by the end of December. Active users also saw a decrease from around 139K to 121K over the quarter.
Revolut: Spend, Save, Trade maintained steady download numbers, generally hovering between 2.4K and 3.6K. Active users increased from 130K to 146K, indicating strong user engagement despite stable download figures.
Finally, Bank Austria MobileBanking downloads remained relatively low, dropping from 2.9K to 888 by the year's end. Active users were consistent, fluctuating slightly around the 200K mark.
