2026 State of Mobile is Live!

The fourth quarter of 2025 presented varied performance trends for the top five consumer finance apps on the Android platform in Romania, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Revolut: Spend, Save, Trade maintained a steady presence in the market with weekly downloads fluctuating between 18K and 22K. The app consistently engaged a large user base, with weekly active users ranging from approximately 3.7M to over 4.1M during the quarter.
BT Pay experienced a gradual decline in downloads, starting the quarter with 24K and ending with around 8K. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 2.6M to 3M.
Salt Bank showed a noticeable decrease in downloads from 24K at the beginning of the quarter to about 6K by the end. However, the app saw an interesting trend in active users, peaking at 337K in mid-December.
Raiffeisen Smart Mobile had a consistent download rate, starting at 18K and dropping to 5K. Despite this decline, the app maintained active user engagement, with numbers ranging from 1.3M to 1.5M.
Finally, George Romania saw a decline in downloads from 12K to 3K, while active users showed a slight dip, ranging from 1M to 1.2M throughout the quarter.
