In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top medical apps on the Android platform in Australia showed diverse performance trends, as analyzed by Sensor Tower.
HotDoc from HotDoc Online Pty Ltd saw a dynamic quarter with its weekly downloads peaking at approximately 12.4K by mid-November. Despite a dip towards the end of December, the app maintained strong engagement with weekly active users fluctuating between 280K and 425K.
The Chemist Warehouse App had a stable download rate, generally hovering around 1.8K to 2K weekly downloads. Active user numbers increased notably in December, reaching a peak of 26K before settling back to around 20K.
Updoc - Same-day Healthcare experienced a decline in weekly downloads over the quarter, starting strong at 3.5K in early October but dropping to below 500 by the end of December.
my health gov, managed by the Australian Digital Health Agency, showed a steady increase in active users, peaking at over 31K in early December. Weekly downloads were consistent, with a significant rise to 2.7K at the end of the quarter.
Finally, the Terry White app had a varied download pattern, beginning with around 1.8K downloads, then experiencing a sharp decline to approximately 400 by the end of December.
