In the fourth quarter of 2025, the MMORPG genre on the Android platform in the United States showed varied performance across the top apps. According to Sensor Tower data, each app exhibited unique trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.
Diablo Immortal from Blizzard Entertainment experienced a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking around $198K in late December. Downloads reached their highest at approximately 9.3K in the final week, while active users showed a decline from 38.4K in mid-October to 39.7K by the end of the quarter.
Huntopia by Leniu Technology Co. started the quarter with revenue of $212K, which gradually decreased to about $35K by the year's end. Downloads saw a significant drop from 59K at the beginning to 2.7K, with active users following a similar downward trend, stabilizing at around 19.3K.
Old School RuneScape from Jagex Games Studio maintained a steady revenue flow, peaking at $96K in late December. Downloads remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations, while active users increased from 56.3K to 60.8K over the quarter.
RuneScape - Fantasy MMORPG also by Jagex, saw an upward trend in revenue, reaching $71K in the week of December 22. Downloads and active users showed minor variations, with active users increasing from 12.7K to 11.1K.
Blue Protocol: Star Resonance by A PLUS JAPAN had a strong start with $133K in revenue in mid-October, but this declined to $5.8K by the end of December. Downloads followed a similar pattern, starting at 22K and dropping significantly, while no data was available for active users.
