In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top sandbox games on Android in the United States showcased varied performance metrics, reflecting their unique market positions. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, offers insights into their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends.
Roblox from Roblox Corporation saw a dynamic quarter with weekly revenue peaking at approximately $4.1M at the start of October. However, it experienced a decline towards the middle of the quarter, hitting a low of about $1.7M in early December before rebounding slightly to $2.6M by the end of the year. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 145.7K and ending at 130.5K, while weekly active users showed an overall increase from 11.9M to 13M by the end of December.
Melon Sandbox by playducky.com saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, reaching $29.4K in late December. Downloads peaked mid-quarter at 55.5K, with a significant spike to 53K in the final weeks. Active users varied, starting at 927.8K and climbing to 1.3M by the end of the quarter.
Block Craft 3D: Building Game from Wildlife Studios maintained modest weekly revenue, peaking at $1.4K in the last week of December. Downloads showed a notable increase, reaching 56.3K in the final week. However, active users saw a decline from 180.5K to 98.5K over the quarter.
Block Crazy Robo World Craft by Prokids Studio did not generate revenue during the quarter but saw a significant rise in downloads, peaking at 54.9K in late November. Active users also increased, starting at 43K and reaching 126.3K by the end of December.
Castle - Make and Play from Monterey's Coast, Inc. had a gradual increase in weekly revenue, culminating at $101 in the year's final week. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable rise to 19.2K in late December. The active user base grew steadily from 114.3K to 187.9K.
