In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top shopping applications on the Android platform in Belgium demonstrated diverse performance trends. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads and active user metrics, based on data from Sensor Tower.
ALDI experienced fluctuations in downloads, starting strong with over 25K downloads weekly at the beginning of October, peaking mid-month, and then gradually declining to around 11.8K by the end of December. The active user base showed a significant increase, starting from 439K and reaching over 625K by the end of the quarter.
The Shop: All your favorite brands app saw a steady rise in downloads, starting at 15.4K and peaking at nearly 24.9K in early December before a drop towards the year's end. Active users consistently increased from 71.6K to 127.5K, indicating growing user engagement.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire had a downward trend in downloads, starting at 19.8K and dropping to 14.8K by December. Despite this, the app maintained a strong active user base, increasing from 851K to over 1M by the end of the quarter.
The My Delhaize app experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 15.9K and dropping to 8K by the end of December. However, active users fluctuated, starting at 445K and ending the quarter at 576K, showing resilience in user engagement.
Finally, Xtra had a varied download pattern, with a high of 15.6K in early November and a low of 7.2K in late December. Active users increased from 549K to over 616K, indicating strong user retention.
