In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Ukraine showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active user engagement. Here’s a detailed look at the trends observed for these apps, as provided by Sensor Tower.
Uklon: More Than a Taxi experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 30K at the beginning of the quarter, peaking at over 44K in the week of December 22. The app also maintained a strong user base, with active users rising from approximately 2.4M to nearly 2.7M by the quarter's end.
Bolt: Request a Ride showed consistent weekly download numbers, fluctuating between 19K and 27K. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight dip mid-quarter but ending at around 1.67M.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus had a steady increase in downloads, reaching about 10K by the end of December. Active users grew significantly, from 332K to nearly 480K, indicating a strong engagement with its audience.
Uber - Request a ride showed a consistent weekly download trend, starting at 9.2K and slightly decreasing to 9K by the end of the quarter. The active user base saw a decline from 250K to about 204K over the same period.
Lastly, inDrive. Save on city rides experienced lower download numbers, ranging from 1.8K to 3.3K. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, starting at 43K and ending at 27K.
