2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the dating app market in the Netherlands saw varied performance across the top five applications, with insights derived from Sensor Tower data.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, starting at approximately $144K and ending the quarter just over $146K. Weekly downloads showed a slight dip mid-quarter, hovering around 4.4K, but they rose to 4.9K by the end of December. Active users saw a gradual decrease from around 249K to 225K.
Tinder Dating App: Date & Chat maintained a strong revenue stream, beginning at $393K and peaking at $406K near the holiday season. Downloads fluctuated mildly, with an initial surge to 6.7K in mid-October and stabilizing around 4.2K by the year's end. Active users remained relatively stable, with a minor decrease from 236K to 232K.
Hinge Dating App: Match & Date saw its revenue increase steadily, closing the quarter at nearly $60K. Downloads, however, decreased from 5K to just over 4K. The app's active users showed a downward trend, starting at 74K and ending at 68K.
happn: dating app experienced a revenue peak of $46K towards the end of December. Downloads remained steady, with a notable increase to 5.8K in the final week. Active users decreased over the quarter from 111K to 81K.
Lastly, Azar: Video Chat, Meet Friends showed a revenue increase from $31K to $44K by the end of the quarter. Downloads saw a slight fluctuation, ending at 2.9K, while active users remained relatively stable around 11K.
