The fourth quarter of 2025 saw varying trends among the top Film & Television applications in Saudi Arabia, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these apps on a unified platform.
muv i Cinemas experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, beginning with around 12.6K in early October, dipping to about 5.5K mid-month, and peaking again at 12.8K by late November. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users starting at approximately 440K and gradually decreasing to about 258K by the end of December.
VOX Cinemas App showed a consistent download pattern, starting with 6.7K downloads and reaching a high of 10K in late November. Active users, however, saw a decline from 174K at the beginning of the quarter to about 116K by the end.
Play Cinemas had an initial rise in downloads from 6.4K to over 10K by mid-October, followed by a steady decline to 2.2K by the end of December.
Empire Cinemas saw a varied download trend, starting at 4.8K, peaking at 5.6K in late November, and ending with 2.2K. Active users fluctuated, starting at 70K, peaking at 69.5K in early December, and ending the year at around 56K.
AMC Cinemas KSA downloads began at 4.4K, with a notable increase to 5.2K in late November before tapering to 2.8K. Active users showed a more consistent pattern, starting at 67K, peaking at nearly 50K mid-December, and closing the quarter at 47K.
