In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of health and fitness applications on a unified platform in the United States showcased intriguing trends. Data sourced from Sensor Tower highlights the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for the top five apps in this category.
Planet Fitness observed a noticeable fluctuation in weekly revenue, with figures peaking at around $2.6K in mid-November and dipping to $1.9K in early December. Downloads saw a significant surge towards the end of December, reaching approximately 217K. The app maintained a strong presence with active users, peaking at about 9M in early December.
The Flo Cycle & Period Tracker experienced a steady increase in revenue, hitting a high of $1.4M in late November. Downloads rose sharply in the last week of December, reaching 147K. Active users remained robust throughout the quarter, with numbers consistently over 10M.
Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner saw a revenue peak of $171K at the end of December. Downloads fluctuated, ending the quarter at 103K, while active users reached about 3.6M in the final week.
Strava: Run, Bike, Walk had a notable revenue increase to $1.3M in the last week of December. Weekly downloads showed a decrease, hitting a low of 65K in early December, but rebounded to 117K by the end. Active users showed resilience, closing the quarter with nearly 5M.
Lastly, Finch: Self-Care Pet experienced a revenue peak of $550K in early October. Downloads and active users saw significant activity in December, with downloads reaching 153K and active users peaking at approximately 9.7M.
