The fourth quarter of 2025 in Brazil saw significant activity in the travel and local app sector, with the top five apps showing varying trends in downloads and active user numbers.
Airbnb experienced a remarkable increase in weekly downloads, culminating in over 323K by the end of December. The app's active users also surged, starting at approximately 4.6M and reaching over 7.5M by the quarter's close.
LATAM Pass saw its downloads peak at 151.5K in late October, maintaining a stable trend thereafter. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, with a notable peak of 641K in late November before settling around 418K by the end of December.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus showed consistent growth in downloads, reaching 176K by the last week of December. The app's active users increased steadily as well, closing the quarter at over 3.1M from an initial 2.8M.
Decolar: Voos e Hotéis experienced a dip in downloads mid-quarter but ended strong with over 106K in the final week. Active users had a similar pattern, peaking at 2.2M in late November before ending the quarter at 1.8M.
ClickBus - Bus Tickets saw a rise in downloads towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 99K. Active users also climbed, concluding December with over 1.5M, up from just over 1M at the start.
