One of mobile gaming's most consistently earning casual titles, Miniclip's 8 Ball Pool, has pocketed an estimated $400 million in worldwide player spending since launching in 2013, Sensor Tower Store Intelligence data shows. More than $20 million of this was grossed last quarter alone.
With lifetime installs of more than 80 million, the United States makes up the majority—52 percent—of the game's revenue so far, at more than $210 million. Total downloads of the game exceed 460 million globally.
Great Britain has spent the second largest amount on the game since it launched, accounting for almost 12 percent, or close to $50 million of 8 Ball Pool revenue so far.
8 Ball Pool ranked No. 119 for worldwide revenue among all mobile games last month and No. 70 in the U.S. Its best month for global revenue was January 2017 when it grossed more than $17 million across both the App Store and Google Play.
