See the top apps in Australia for 2018 by downloads, according to Sensor Tower data.
The most downloaded app in Australia for 2018 was Messenger with close to five million installs. The full top 10 ranking of apps in Australia by downloads for 2018 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.
Netflix was the second most installed app in Australia last year with more than three million estimated downloads, followed by Instagram, Spotify, and Facebook.
Store Intelligence users can see app download estimates for the above apps in addition to historical performance metrics on the Sensor Tower platform. Our estimates include downloads for the App Store and Google Play in Australia between Jan. 1, 2018 and Dec. 31, 2018. Apple apps and Google pre-installed apps are excluded.
