See the top apps in Germany for 2018 by downloads, according to Sensor Tower data.
The most downloaded app in Germany for 2018 was WhatsApp with more than 12 million first-time installs for the year. The full ranking of top apps in Germany by downloads for 2018 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.
Helix Jump, a hyper-casual game from French publisher Voodoo, was the next most installed app in 2018 with close to nine million downloads, followed by Messenger, Instagram, and Netflix.
Store Intelligence users can see app download estimates for the above apps in addition to historical performance metrics on the Sensor Tower platform. Our estimates include downloads for the App Store and Google Play in Germany between Jan. 1, 2018 and Dec. 31, 2018. Apple apps and Google pre-installed apps are excluded.
