Top Apps in Japan for December 2019 by Downloads
See the top apps in Japan for December 2019 by downloads, according to Sensor Tower data.
PayPay was the most downloaded app in Japan for December 2019 with close to 1.8 million installs, which represented a 44 percent increase from December 2018. The full top 10 ranking of apps in Japan by downloads for December 2019 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.
Amazon Prime Video was the second most installed app in Japan last month with close to 1 million installs, which represented a 65 percent increase from December 2018. TimeTree, d Pay, and Super Brain rounded out the top five most installed apps in Japan for the month.
Store Intelligence users can see app download estimates for the above apps in addition to historical performance metrics on the Sensor Tower platform. Our estimates include downloads for the App Store and Google Play in Japan between December 1, 2018 and December 31, 2019. Apple apps and Google pre-installed apps are excluded. We report unique installs only. Android estimates do not include third-party stores. Figures represent aggregate installs of all app versions, ex: Facebook and Facebook Lite.
