Top Apps in the U.S. for April 2019 by Downloads

The most downloaded app in the United States for April 2019 was Run Race 3D with more than 5.4 million installs. Nine of the top 10 apps were mobile games, with the exception of one, Facebook’s Messenger. The full top 10 ranking of apps in the U.S. by downloads for April 2019 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.

Amaze was the second most installed app in the U.S. last month with more than 5.3 million downloads. Clean Road, Roller Splat!, and Stack Ball 3D represented the remainder of the top five most installed apps last month.

Our estimates include downloads for the App Store and Google Play in the U.S. between Apr. 1, 2018 and Apr. 30, 2019. Apple apps and Google pre-installed apps are excluded.
