Instagram was the most downloaded non-game app in the United States for September 2019 with close to 4.9 million installs, which represented a 79 percent increase from September 2018. The full top 10 ranking of non-game apps in the U.S. by downloads for September 2019 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.
YouTube was the second most installed non-game app in the U.S. last month with more than 4.7 million installs, a 2x increase from September 2018. TikTok, Messenger, and Snapchat rounded out the top five most installed non-game apps in the U.S. for the month.
