Top Dating Apps in the U.S. for August 2019 by Downloads

Tinder was the most downloaded dating app in the United States for August 2019 with more than 1.1 million installs, which represented a 3 percent increase from August 2018. The full top 10 ranking of dating apps in the U.S. by downloads for August 2019 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.

Bumble was the second most installed dating app in the U.S. last month with close to 594,000 installs, which represented a 12 percent increase from August 2018. Plenty of Fish, Hily, and MeetMe rounded out the top five most installed dating apps in the U.S. for the month.

Store Intelligence users can see app download estimates for the above apps in addition to historical performance metrics on the Sensor Tower platform. Our estimates include downloads for the App Store and Google Play in the U.S. between August 1, 2018 and August 31, 2019. Apple apps and Google pre-installed apps are excluded.
