The most downloaded dating app worldwide for May 2019 was Tinder with more than 5.7 million installs, which represented 11 percent year-over-year growth from May 2018. Eighteen percent of the new installs were from the United States, followed by 13 percent from Brazil, and 7 percent from India. The second most installed dating app worldwide last month was Badoo with more than 4.1 million downloads, up 22 percent from May 2018. The markets with the most new Badoo installs during this period were Brazil at 18 percent of total downloads, followed by Russia at 11 percent and the U.S. at 6 percent. Tantan, MeetMe and Happn rounded out the remainder of the top five most installed dating apps last month.
