Top Education Apps Worldwide for June 2020 by Downloads

Google Classroom was the most downloaded Education category app worldwide for June 2020 with more than 11.7 million installs, 11.8 times its downloads in June 2019. The countries with the most installs of the app during this period were India at 27.5 percent of its total downloads and Brazil at 16.8 percent. The full top 10 ranking of Education category apps worldwide by downloads for June 2020 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.

YouTube Kids was the second most installed Education category app worldwide last month with close to 7.9 million installs, 2.4 times its downloads in June 2019. The countries with the largest number of YouTube Kids installs were India at 16.9 percent, followed by Brazil at 11.9 percent. Duolingo, Cake, and U-Dictionary rounded out the top five most installed Education category apps worldwide for the month.
