The top grossing non-game app worldwide for January 2020 was Tinder with $85.9 million in user spending. Approximately 40 percent of Tinder’s revenue was from the United States, followed by 7.2 percent from Great Britain and 4.7 percent from Brazil. YouTube was the second highest earning non-game app worldwide for January 2020 with $65.5 million in gross revenue, which represented 84.5 percent year-over-year growth from January 2019. About 58 percent of YouTube’s revenue was from the U.S., followed by 7.9 percent from Japan. The next top grossing app was Netflix, followed by iQIYI and Disney+.
