The top 10 grossing dating apps in the U.S. for 2018, shown above, saw more than $628 million in user spending during the course of the year, according to estimates from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform. Dating apps represented two of the top 10 apps by overall U.S. revenue last year, up from just one in 2017.
Tinder was the top grossing dating app in the U.S. last year with user spending of more than $336 million. The next highest grossing dating app was Bumble, followed by Match, Zoosk, and Plenty of Fish.
In terms of both overall revenue and downloads, Tinder had a significant lead over its competitors. Tinder's revenue was three times greater than second place Bumble, while it had twice as many downloads.
