The top grossing health and fitness app in the United States for January 2019 was Calm with more than $6.5 million in gross revenue, representing a 2.4x increase from its revenue in January 2018. Calm was the third highest grossing health and fitness app last January. First-time installs of Calm grew by 72 percent year-over-year last month to more than one million. The second highest grossing health and fitness app in the U.S. for January was MyFitnessPal with more than $3.4 million in revenue, which was growth of close to 10 percent from January 2018. The next top grossing health and fitness app was Sweat, followed by Weight Watchers and Headspace.
