Approximately 59 percent of YouTube’s revenue was from the United States, followed by 8 percent from Japan and 4 percent from South Korea. TikTok was the second highest earning photo & video app worldwide for November 2019 with close to $31 million in gross revenue, a 7x year-over-year growth from November 2018. About 78 percent of TikTok’s revenue was from China, followed by 16 percent from the U.S. The next top grossing app was Kuaishou, followed by Twitch and PicsArt.
