See the top mobile apps in Southeast Asia for November 2022 by downloads, according to Sensor Tower data.

CapCut from Bytedance was the most downloaded mobile app in Southeast Asia for November 2022 with close to 12 million installs, marking an increase of 48.3 percent year over year. The countries with the most installs of CapCut during this period were Indonesia at 51.8 percent of its total downloads in Southeast Asia, Vietnam at 14.2 percent and Thailand at 13.4 percent. The full top 10 ranking of mobile apps in Southeast Asia by downloads for November 2022 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.

TikTok from Bytedance was the second most installed mobile app in Southeast Asia last month with over 10 million downloads, which represented a 18.6 percent increase from November 2021. The countries with the largest number of TikTok installs were Indonesia at 45.9 percent, followed by Vietnam at 17.8 percent and Philippines at 13 percent.

Facebook from Meta, Shopee and Messenger from Meta rounded out the top five most installed mobile apps in Southeast Asia for the month.

Mobile apps (non-game)  generated 799 million downloads across the App Store and Google Play in Southeast Asia in November 2022, marking a decrease of 7.8 percent year over year. The No. 1 market for Southeast Asia apps downloads was Indonesia, which accumulated exceeding 344.4 million installs, or 43.1 percent of total Southeast Asia downloads. Vietnam ranked No.2 for downloads at 16.6 percent, followed by Philippines at 16.5 percent.
