Top Mobile Games in Southeast Asia for November 2022 by Downloads

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang from Moonton was the most downloaded mobile game in Southeast Asia for November 2022 with over 4 million installs. The countries with the most of its installs in Southeast Asia during this period were Indonesia at 56.9 percent of its total downloads, followed by Philippines at 22.7 percent and Cambodia at 6.2 percent. Garena Free Fire (including Garena Free Fire MAX) was the second most installed mobile game in Southeast Asia last month, exceeding 3.7 million downloads. The countries with the largest number of Garena Free Fire installs in Southeast Asia were Indonesia at 40.9 percent, followed by Vietnam at 30.6 percent and Thailand at 17 percent.

Shotgun Sounds: Gun Simulator from DINO Global, Roblox and Football League 2023 from MOBILE SOCCER rounded out the top five most installed mobile games in Southeast Asia for the month.

The Southeast Asia mobile games market generated over 690 million downloads across the App Store and Google Play in November 2022, marking an increase of 0.9 percent year over year. The No. 1 market for Southeast Asia game downloads was Indonesia, which accumulated 269 million installs, or 39 percent of total downloads in this region. Vietnam ranked No. 2 for downloads at 20.2 percent, followed by the Philippines at 18.3 percent.

FIFA Mobile from Electronic Arts had its second best month ever for downloads during November 2022, picking up over 2.5 million installs, a rise of 92 percent from October 2022. The title also achieved the second highest month-over-month increase among the Top 10. Indonesia ranked as the title’s No. 1 country for new installs, picking up close to 1.8 million downloads in November, or 67.8 percent of the total. Thailand ranked No. 2 at 14.9 percent, while Malaysia ranked No. 3 at 11.3 percent. The game introduced Tournament Mode at an opportune time as the World Cup seasons began, allowing fans to earn rewards such as World Cup Players and currency.
