Top Mobile Games Worldwide for May 2021 by Downloads

Hair Challenge from Zynga-owned Rollic Games was the most downloaded mobile game worldwide for May 2021 with 36.5 million installs. The countries with the most installs of the game during this period were India at 22.4 percent of its total downloads and Brazil at 7.5 percent. The full top 10 ranking of mobile games worldwide by downloads for May 2021 is above. Game download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.

Bridge Race from Supersonic Studios was the second most installed mobile game worldwide last month with 32.3 million installs. The countries with the largest number of Bridge Race installs were India at 18.5 percent, followed by Brazil at 8 percent. Paper Fold from Good Job Games, Ludo King from Gametion, and Garena Free Fire from Garena rounded out the top five most installed mobile games worldwide for the month.

Fashion games continue to rise in popularity, with three of the top 10 most downloaded titles, Hair Challenge, High Heels from Zynga, and Makeover Run from Moonee, utilizing the theme, generating approximately 65 million installs combined in May. Meanwhile, Project Makeover from Magic Tavern, another Fashion-themed title, ranked No. 4 for App Store game downloads last month, accumulating more than 4 million installs.
