Call of Duty from Activision Publishing was the most downloaded mobile game worldwide for October 2019 with close to 146 million installs. The countries with the most installs of the app during this period were the United States at 16 percent of its total downloads and India at 11 percent. Mario Kart Tour from Nintendo was the second most installed mobile game worldwide last month with close to 40.3 million installs. The countries with the largest number of Mario Kart Tour installs were the U.S. at 19 percent, followed by Brazil at 8 percent. Sand Balls from SayGames, PUBG Mobile from Tencent, and Fun Race 3D from Good Job Games rounded out the top five most installed mobile games worldwide for the month.
As well as Call of Duty Mobile, three other games entered the top overall downloads chart in October. Icing on the Cake from AppLovin generated 18.3 million unique installs, Homescapes from Playrix picked up 15.4 million downloads, while My Talking Tom 2 from Outfit7 racked up 12.4 million downloads.
While casual games continue to dominate the chart, Call of Duty Mobile was the latest game targeted more at core users to be a top 10 hit worldwide, alongside PUBG Mobile and Garena Free Fire.
