Top News Apps Worldwide for December 2019 by Downloads

Public was the most downloaded news app worldwide for December 2019 with more than 2.9 million installs. India accounted for most of these with more than 99 percent of the app's total downloads for the month. The full top 10 ranking of news apps worldwide by downloads for December 2019 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower's Store Intelligence platform.

Aaj Tak was the second most installed news app worldwide last month with more than 1.6 million installs, close to 98 percent of which came from India. News Break, Cricbuzz, and Google News rounded out the top five most installed news apps worldwide for the month.
