Top News Apps Worldwide for February 2020 by Downloads

Toutiao was the most downloaded news app worldwide for February 2020 with 2.2 million installs. China, home market of Toutiao parent company ByteDance, accounted for nearly all of the app’s installs for the month. The full top 10 ranking of news apps worldwide by downloads for February 2020 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.

Public was the second most installed news app worldwide last month with about 2 million downloads. The country with the largest number of Public installs was India at almost 99 percent of its total. Aaj Tak, Cricbuzz, and News Break rounded out the top five most downloaded news apps worldwide for the month.
