Top Ridesharing & Taxi Apps Worldwide for May 2019 by Downloads

The most downloaded ridesharing and taxi app worldwide for May 2019 was Uber with more than 13 million installs, which represented a 9 percent increase from May 2018. Brazil accounted for 19 percent of these installs, while 15 percent were from the United States. The full top 10 ranking of ridesharing and taxi apps worldwide by downloads for May 2019 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.

Grab was the second most installed ridesharing and taxi app worldwide last month with more than four million installs, which represented a 7 percent increase from May 2018. Indonesia represented 44 percent of these downloads and 16 percent were from Vietnam. Ola, DiDi, and 99 rounded out the top five most installed ridesharing and taxi apps worldwide for the month.
