Top Ridesharing & Taxi Apps Worldwide for September 2019 by Downloads

Uber was the most downloaded ridesharing & taxi app worldwide for September 2019 with close to 12.3 million installs. The countries with the most installs of the app during this period were Brazil at 19 percent of its total downloads and the United States at 15 percent. The full top 10 ranking of ridesharing & taxi apps worldwide by downloads for September 2019 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.

Grab was the second most installed ridesharing & taxi app worldwide last month with close to 4.3 million installs, which represented an 8 percent increase from September 2018. The countries with the largest number of Grab installs were Indonesia at 41 percent, followed by Vietnam at 16 percent. DiDi, Ola, and 99 rounded out the top five most installed ridesharing & taxi apps worldwide for the month.
